I am scheduled for surgery near the end of nov. I am very excited. But kinda wish it was here sooner. Anyone else looking for surgery in November?

November 10th in Mexico for my husband and I can't wait to have surgery behind us!

Nov 6 th here. Worried about being able to take my meds, but I have to put it in Gods hands. I'm HIV positive, and the HIV meds are rather large. I can't crush them. And I have to take them. I'm praying I'll be OK. And ask for any thoughts, or ideas. Or if anyone else is worried about taking meds.

Hi Robert most of us have to take some kind of meds that we can't go without so your not alone there have you asked your dr that prescribes your meds if there is any alternative? Or the surgeon doing your procedure maybe they know what to do it seems from what I've read that it gets easier with time after a few days to swallow at least small pills could u possibly cut them with a pill cutter to make them into smaller pcs? I'll be asking the surgeon when I see him about that as I too have to take some heart meds that I can't skip best of luck to you!

I completed my last supervised diet visit today. My file will be submitted to insurance today. I can't wait to hear the good news and have an official date.

November 14th

My date was pushed back a week due to a conference that my surgeons are attending. Bummed me out but everything happens for a reason. It still doesn't seem real. All this preparation and it still sort of feels like a dream or something. But I'm excited!

I am scheduled for Nov 24

I just did my final weigh in last Tuesday. Found out I was approved yesterday (Monday) . The scheduler called today to say they have a cancellation MONDAY! I took it. For once I am just jumping in.

Nov 6th here. a week from tomorrow, pre-op/admissions testing tomorrow.

I am new to BP. This is my first post. I just got my insurance approval last week. I started my pre op diet yesterday. My final appt is Friday and my surgery is scheduled for Nov 11th! I am so excited and nervous. The nervousness didn't start until I knew my approval date. I didn't expext surgery to be scheduled 2 weeks after the approval. ..i figured it would be two months out scheduling. The next date available was Dec 23rd. So I assume someone cancelled. Only 13 days!!!
