How long did it take to eat salads again after surgery?

My sleeve experience was not what I was expecting. I had to stay in the hospital for 4 days after surgery, due to elevated heart rate and blood pressure. It was a side affect of anesthesia. I am home and enjoying my bed. Everyday it gets better. I am learning to eat with my new stomach. I can't seem to know when I am hungry or full from drinking liquids. I am so happy to be sleeved. Ready for the lbs to shed.

Me too !!!!! It is so real!!! I am nervous yet excited and scared. I am hoping my tears hold back when my hubby kisses me before entering the OR. Good luck!

I am scheduled to be at the hospital in 2 hours for my procedure. So anxious and excited. Good luck to everyone who's big day is today.

Yes, I told me husband he have to cook from this day going forward. I have 7 days left and its liquid only. Thanks for the advice. I have come to far and spent to much money. I will continue to pray and it will all work out. I know if will.

I am scheduled for the 21st and my pre-opt diet has been horrible at night. I do good all day until night when I have to cook for my family. I just start over everyday. My water intake is great! I just can't wait to be in the other side of this journey.

I am having issues following the pre-opt diet. I can't seem to shake this the hunger pains when night falls. I do good all day while at work, but the torture comes when I have to cook for my family in the evening. I am 7 days away from having surgery. I have only lost 2 pounds. Anyone else experiencing this?

Nov 21st for me

Hi ladies, I am going through True Results and am using Dr. Reilly. I am having surgery on Nov 21st at West Houston. Good luck to both of you. I am so happy the wait is almost over. I started this process in May.

November 21st is my day!! I am so excited!!! I have already started my pre-opt diet to give me a few extra lbs to shed.

Seems like its their protocol. I wish I would have know what I know before going with True Results. I am waiting to be scheduled too.

@@devoted04 I have gallstones and recently had a gallbladder attack, plus I have an upset stomach and nausea every day. So my doctor says it needs to come out! I am okay with it, cause I wouldn't want to end up end the ER a few weeks out after Post opt and have to have emergency sergery to get the gallbladder removed.

So my EGD results were good but I do have a hital hernia. So I will be getting sleeved, hital hernia repair and gallbladder removed all together. Spoke with my doctor office and they will call me Monday once the EGD report is upload to schedule my date.

At the hospital right now. I am about to get my EGD done. Praying everything goes well and I can get a surgery date today. I have already been APPROVED.

I got APPROVED, waiting to receive my letter and get scheduled.

It really is a pain in the butt, but it's worth it!

Well this is good news, I too have BCBS Iowa. My EGD is scheduled for Friday. I am here at the doctor now for my PreOpt for the EGD. I had to force my insurance to submit without it.

I can totally relate.... I just want to be on the other side of this journey.

If you were approved before you EDG was done, what insurance company do you have?
