Hi Lucy,

How are you doing? I too had my surgery the same day.Was in overnight and so far so good.

Are you getting your shakes in ok? I'm counting the days until I can have scrambled eggs and cottage cheese.< /p>

Tonight I had the suggested broth, it was ok, now I even look at my chewable vitamins like food.< /p>

Two more days of shakes left, and I must admit it's been hard.

Talk soon, and congratulations.

I hope both of you are doing well! 2 more days to my surgery. This is a journey, to teach us how to eat healthfully again. To help us learn correct portion sizes. I would love to hear how everyone is doing!

Hi Sue,

Congrats are in order, you made it to through the light! Now your life can only improve! Drink your shakes, take your Vitamins and try to get some Water in. Each day will get better. I'm 9 days post-op and I feel awesome!.

Our goal weight is about the same, maybe we can share each other's clothes, lol. They'll be brand new because we'll have to buy all new ones. Remember, purple is my favorite color and anything black, oh yes, and I love glitter. Not gaudy though!

Hugs,

Jodi

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞
