6:30 am I get banded! Tomorrow!

  • Popular Post

Hello All!

Tomorrow morning is the day! I get banded ladies and gents. I've got my rx's, heating pad, liquids, gas-x, chapstick, loose clothes, and this feeling of anticipation. The day is finally here. For those of you who have speaking with me on the board you know that I have been working really hard to listen to my body. My goal was to begin retraining my brain before being banded. As with everything else in my life I find that if I prepare myself I tend to do well with what I do. I've learned so much just getting ready for surgery, being on the pre-op diet, and I've already had a few non scale victories. I managed to complete my pre-op diet with out trouble, I've listened to my body every step of the way and I feel like a million bucks. I work tonight and then I am off to surgery tomorrow. Any last words of wisdom.....

best wishes to you blacktxbelle...will be thinking of you tomorrow...day early but welcome to BandLand

GRATS!! I'll be thinking of you!

I just got word that my potassium levels are high and I need to have them retested. Yay.

Congratulations on your band to be! :D I remember that feeling, so excited and high on the anticipation. My last day before my surgery, I was like a racehorse in the starting gate. I couldn't wait to hear the signal to go. In my case, to the surgical center for my Lap Band. :D

It sounds as if you are prepared and ready to go. I hope that you have a successful procedure. :D Good luck and we'll see you on the other side. :D

Good luck! New beginnings!!

Yay for you ! Don't forget a BIG bottle of water for the cottonmouth after surgery, and a pillow or 2 in the car for the ride home. Good luck !

Definitely have Water ready! I had a long drive home. I live in Prescott, AZ and my surgery was performed in Tempe. I was happy to have a bottle of water at the ready to sip on the ride. I bought some fancy stuff and left it in the car so it was the perfect temperature by the time they sent me home. :D

Congratulations on your big day! Sending prayers your way!

Congratulations on being banded!!!

Hope everything went perfectly! Give us the update!

Hope your recovery is going well . Rest up and take care of yourself ! So happy for you !

How are you feeling?

So... How'd it go? :D

I hope that your surgery went really well and you are recovering swiftly. :D

Peeking in again... you've been so quiet. Hope everything is ok. :) keeping a good thought for you!!
