Is it getting bigger?

So I have always had dramatically asymmetrical breasts - as in, one is a D, one isn't even an A, I wear mastectomy insert even though I haven't had a mastectomy - that kind of asymmetrical. Honestly, on my right side, it always just seemed like what an overweight guy has: the shape and the feel are totally different from a woman's breast and there's no real breast tissue.

But today I realized, it seems like my right breast has grown. I think I feel some breast tissue and I see a stretch mark that I don't think used to be there. I'm nearly seven weeks out and I've lost almost 40lb since starting the preop diet in the middle of May.

Is there some kind of hormonal reason why this might be happening all of a sudden?

I don't know how to feel about this. I had actually just been hoping to get a reduction on my left side once I'm at goal. I really don't want big breasts...

EDIT: I posted this in the "powder Room" for a reason, but just realized it will show up on the side bar as well. My guess is some guys will read it. Maybe the content will make them uncomfortable. I dunno. As they say, tough titties ;)

Everything feels different as you lose the weight compared to when you were say 19 or a little older. My chest bone sticks out and it never ever did. I look like I have a mountain between my breasts. But that is just how I see myself. My entire body looks different since I lost the weight and as I lost it in different places at different times there were times I feared how it would turn out.

Well I lost all my weight and am looking forward to surgery to fix the mess.

Please try to stay focused on the goal of weight loss and look forward to fixing the outcome later. One step at a time...okay!

You might ask your doctor about the possibility of hormones causing a growth in breast tissue...since hormones tend to be in flux post-surgery. I don't know enough about hormones and their actions to give a good answer.

If women are known to become extremely fertile as they lose weight, certainly breast tissue growth is very likely.

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞
