Tomorrow (Monday) is my day. In Boston :) anyone wanna be date buddies? Xoxo

I'm in. I'm 34 Dallas girl. Laying in bed with a horrible headache due to this laxative drink I had to drink...yuck!!

I've got 5 kids so been prepping more for them than me...still need to get my bag for hospital together..

I did buy a blanket last night for the hospital...(weird?!@) and think once I feel a little better will make a run to target for a couple other items...anything special your bringing?

My surgery is at 9 when's yours

I feel like I'm forgetting everything I need to bring. Any idea if we need to bring our own Vitamins? Just bringing clothes toothbrush blanket pillow and a bear. I have lupus I spend every weekend in the hospital. Idk why I'm so nervous now !!

Good luck!! I'll be looking forward to hearing how it goes for you. I have Dr. Shah.

I think what you're bringing is fine. I don't think you take Vitamins until after they clear you at your 2 week follow-up.

Hey to my fellow September Sleevers from Canada. I'll be heading to Juarez, Mexico for my sleeve surgery scheduled for September 24th!

I know it's a ways to go yet, but everything has been brought together so quickly. I'm heading to Newfoundland for a 2 week vacation, then Sept 8th I start my pre-op diet. My surgeon doesn't use a liquid diet, but I'll be eating as much Protein as I can and limit my net carbs to 50 gr/day. I'll think about all of that when I get back from holidays.

Good luck to everyone, can't wait to keep up on all of you who are having your surgery before I do.

Hi there! A fellow Canadian from Saskatchewan, heading to Victoria BC for my VSG. Started my journey there 4 years ago and my surgery date is also the 24th! I'm so excited to finally be at this point. Good luck to you. :)

I was sleeved on 9/3. Discharged on 9/5. The only thing i needed out of my bag were, chapstick, gas x strips, tooth brush and toothe paste, scrunchy to keep my hair back, a maxi dress that i wore to the hospital, flip flops and my cell phone with charger! Thats all i used out of my bag.

I have no clue where to upload this, so I'll put it here. This is pre-op vs the morning of my 6 month appointment! In office I weight 232, that's 88 lbs down since my highest weight, 75 lbs since my surgery weight! I can't believe this jacket fit... I am smaller now than the last time I was this size which the surgeon found really amusing. He's happy with where I am in my weight loss and estimates I'll be around 200 lbs by my 1 year anniversary! My lowest weight as an adult is 195, so that's pretty damn exciting to think I'll be near that at a year. Everything from there will be unknown territory!!

So proud of you Cat. Getting into those smaller size clothes is half the fun isn't it?. Keep up the good work!!!!

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

That's brilliant! You've done amazing!! I should probably think about changing my profile picture at some point. Mine is the doll from Squid Games. Ironically the whole premise of the show is about dodging death. We've both done that...

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks
