Good to hear that! I thought I was the only one that stalled out so early for sooooo long! I guess I just expected much better progress after reading the posts on here.

I am struggling lately with wanting sweets. I have been staying in a good calorie range and loading weight, but fear getting out if control because of these cravings. Does anyone have any tips? Just fearful of triggering old habits and going back to where I was.

There were times during last month that I thought the same and I only lost 3.5 Kg (7.7 lbs) while my doctor expected me to lose 11-15 lbs per month but I eventually could make peace in my mind with that but then this month after I started dancing 5 days a week, my scale moves down everyday, kinda scary, so far I've already lost 10.34 lbs, still have 4 days to go, probably I can reach Dr's expectation this month.

Cheer up!! xxx

Thanks @@mrsscott32 last month I lost 11.22 lbs woohoo!!

On the other hand, last week my weight moving down and up back to the same point. I guess my body will take another month to adjust with the new status. It's been so long time I never weight less than 80 kg (around 176 lbs) Now I weight 170 lbs, so I give it time to get a grip and mourn before moving on lol.

@@n0ble199 Wow you look great!! Congrats!

Today is my 3 months surgiversary! (Sleeved on 07/07/14) I've lost so far 39 lbs, and today for a tiny NSV -- I went to H&M and bought a cardigan because it's getting colder. I can wear a size M! M!! I almost couldn't believe it. Before I couldn't squeeze in even size XL of this shop and now I'm fit perfectly in a size M (not even tight!).

It's a good day, wish you guys all the best!

I have no clue where to upload this, so I'll put it here. This is pre-op vs the morning of my 6 month appointment! In office I weight 232, that's 88 lbs down since my highest weight, 75 lbs since my surgery weight! I can't believe this jacket fit... I am smaller now than the last time I was this size which the surgeon found really amusing. He's happy with where I am in my weight loss and estimates I'll be around 200 lbs by my 1 year anniversary! My lowest weight as an adult is 195, so that's pretty damn exciting to think I'll be near that at a year. Everything from there will be unknown territory!!

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞
