Hi, I had my sleeve in 2014 and the pouch is still in tact. The first 3 years was the honeymoon period so everything was easy, I lost around 88 lbs. I exercise regularly until now and always watch what I eat. I did gain back around 20 lbs but it’s still considered normal weight and it remained stable for 3 yesrs. I did “restart” the pouch from time to time by eating soft food for a week so my pouch is still smallThen in 2020 I was about to hit 50 and got freaked out that I might gain more weight after 50. So I decided to do the OMAD within a year I lost 27 lbs more and back to the weight in my honeymoon period. I realize that I don’t need to eat 3 meals a day to live so I continue doing OMAD until now. I still always try to eat well, I don’t take caloric drinks (soda, juice, alcohol) in regular basis. I enjoy my desserts after meal but don’t eat between meals and I exercise every day at least 30 minutes, cardio, HIIT, weight training and yoga. Luckily it became my habit since after the surgery until now. I also drink at least 1.5 liters of water and go to bed early the same time every night. I think if we stick to the basics, we can keep the weight off. I’m not concerned too much but I still watch my weight like a hawk. I hope my journey helps you in some way.
