Thanks you guys, you'll get there. Keep up good work and think positive, your body will eventually agree with you lol.

This month since 1st October my weight has been swinging back and forth between 170-171 I guess it doesn't want to let go of the 70s lol.

I aimed a mini goal to reach 165 lbs by the end of October but it's ok, I don't rush ;-)

I'm 12 weeks out and was going between 191-192 and today is my weigh day (only once a week) so when I got on the scale and saw 189 I was elated!! Having the sleeve was the best decision ever, I'm almost down 60lbs and loving my new life ????

I was sleeved on July 28. Had almost a one month stall that finally broke a few weeks back. It was a bit discouraging, but the new and SMALLLER clothes don't lie! There's no race to the finish line. I just need a balance I can maintain for LIFE. (With some more new and smaller clothes) :)

Peace all!

I also was sleeved on July 28th and am thrilled to report that I feel healthy, strong and empowered. Sleevie has given me the ability to control a facet of my life that was out of control for so many years. Every day I try to make the best choices, while also gaining insight into the stressors that I managed for years by overeating. It's quite a ride, but so exciting and every bit worth it. Good luck to all of my fellow July Sleevers.

I was also sleeved July 28th. It has already changed my life for the better in so many ways. I have had no complications and amazing results. Of course it's not magic and it takes alot of hardwork and life changes but that's what I wanted when I made the decision to have the surgery. Keep on trucking sleevers.

Today I met the girl who reccommended her surgeon to me, she's around 9 months out and looked A-M-A-Z-I-N-G!

Thanks to her who revealed her secret (her colleague had done it a few years back but she never told me) and I feel so grateful for her because I didn't have a clue about WLS.

It was the first time we saw each other since surgery and she was so happy for me, we were gigling a little while talking aboyt our McDreamy (our cute and talented surgeon) we really like him. And the sleeve has changed our lives completely, in the better condition. :-)

I have no clue where to upload this, so I'll put it here. This is pre-op vs the morning of my 6 month appointment! In office I weight 232, that's 88 lbs down since my highest weight, 75 lbs since my surgery weight! I can't believe this jacket fit... I am smaller now than the last time I was this size which the surgeon found really amusing. He's happy with where I am in my weight loss and estimates I'll be around 200 lbs by my 1 year anniversary! My lowest weight as an adult is 195, so that's pretty damn exciting to think I'll be near that at a year. Everything from there will be unknown territory!!

So proud of you Cat. Getting into those smaller size clothes is half the fun isn't it?. Keep up the good work!!!!

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

That's brilliant! You've done amazing!! I should probably think about changing my profile picture at some point. Mine is the doll from Squid Games. Ironically the whole premise of the show is about dodging death. We've both done that...

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞

I may have to have gall bladder surgery during my weight loss surgery. Not thrilled about it either but do not want 2 recovery times. Just want it over with.

Thanks for your post. I may need to rethink my decision... :(
