Week 3: May 27-31st Sleevers

Happy week 3 everyone!

Sorry I'm a day late, I fell asleep! I'll update this first page later tonight after I go through and add in the new people and the updates from Surgery day weight lost! If you didnt post it in the thread or PM it to me, you can do that today and Ill update it. It will be fun to look back at old weekly threads and see where you were as the weeks go on :)

By now pretty much everyone should be feeling good, not on pain meds and either still enjoying a rest or back to work. Its amazing its already been a few weeks. My doc is so particular about food timing with the new stomach to let it heal so Im still on liquids until next Wednesday (blah). But Ive started being creative, licking a spoon of peanutbutter like a popsicle is heavenly. Only get in about a teaspoon but its satisfying for sure! Do you have some recipes you have tried?? Do share! I'm excited for purees and look forward to sending some chilli through my Ninja to puree it a little. You better believe thats my dinner next Wednesday night!

A few are in a mini stall right now. Just be patient, drink some Water, and maybe walk a little if you haven't yet. If you are already walking a lot and stalling, upping your calories may help with the stall, get an extra Protein drink in.

Good luck this week everyone! We have an amazing group!

I am really feeling the restriction now that I'm on purée/mashed foods. On liquids I could eat a normal bowl of Soup and it went right through but now just a few tbsps and I'm stuffed. My challenges are I'm doing a horrible job tracking my intakes exactly; I've got a general idea but I'm feeling convicted that this surgery means I'm going to have to log my intake probably forever to be successful. I always hate logging so time to suck it up.

All steri strips have fallen off. Pretty much all of the pain is gone. I still have not gone back to the gym. I may do it next week. I have been meeting my Protein goals with Protein shakes. I am still having a hard time getting all of my fluids in.

I have defintely seen a slow down the last few days but sticking with it. Everyone looks like they are doing great!!

Sleevin' it it Jersey, I can't believe how similar our stats are! We have the same start weight, I was sleeved a day later but SW was the same and CW is almost the same, too lol

Nicci....I know! Lets keep this up! I am still on pureed food but I do not use a blender. Gross. I just make sure it is soft food and chew chew chew. Are you in MFP? I can add you as a friend if you are. I am jerseygal4.

I was thinking that I've been lagging the last week being at the same weight, but glad to see I'm not doing bad lol I'm on pureed too, and only do the meat. Everything else, I super chew. Yes, on MFP, pretty sure the same username .. I'm so original lol

Really glad I found this group. My surgery was on may 29th

I am back at work and feel as if I cant focus on anything! lol

I also am feeling a little constipated and have started on mushy foods, which don't seem to be going over that well. Is anyone exercising, if so, how much?
