Cycling

I bought myself a new schwinn this week. I haven't ridden in 30+ years. I have a friend who has bee bugging me to do this and she hasn't ridden this year yet. We went out yesterday and did a bike trail that was 6 miles. My right knee is feeling it but we were so proud of ourselves for finish the trail. I still need to get my adjustments down on the seat and bars and get my needed accessories for comfort convenience and safety. I also downloaded this app "map my ride"

How Fun! Riding my bike is one of my favorite Spring/ Summer activities...it's a great way to discover your city, get some exercise and have fun.

I hope you love it and continue! Enjoy!

I love cycling - makes me feel like a little kid again!

On my goal list -- time to saddle up!

Sure am glad I bought some biker shorts with cushion. I'm sore today, don't know how I would even ride today if I had not had them yesterday.

Your booty will get used to it after a few rides :) way to get back in that saddle!

enjoy SandyM...happy for you!!!

The padded shorts cracked me up, I was just saying I think I've lost fat pads on my feet, cause they need padded socks!! Lol

I am really looking forward to getting back on my bike :) Hubby bought me a new Trek bike this spring so I would be able to ride it a bit before my surgery. I'm looking forward to getting my surgeon's clearance to start riding again :D I know it's going to be a little bit (only 4 days post-op), but hopefully not too long.

I love riding. It's like being a little kid again. I actually have 3 bikes -- a cruiser, a mountain bike and a hybrid. I was thinking about getting another road bike because they are so much lighter and then I realized, hey... I can drop 70 pounds off my bike if I just get my butt moving! lol

Riding is the best. Gotta get myself out there.

I love my road bike - it goes much faster than my hybrid!
