Ladies: How much loss 1st week?

Sorry gentlemen but guys weight loss amounts are wayyy higher than ours so keeping you out of this one lol!

Anyway, ladies, how much weight did you lose your first week post-op? I go to my first doc appointment after my surgery last Monday and hope I lost at least 6 lbs! Is this realistic??

  • 4 weeks later...

Hello all,

I hope to get some responses, I'm feeling a bit down. Surgery was on June 4th, and only have lost 8 lbs, since surgery. which seemed only the first week. I have not lost a pound in a week! Is this normal? This is where I get discouraged and give up! Help so I understand this process!

I lost 14lbs the first week...wow! then lost 1 to 11/2lbs per day for 3 weeks, then stayed the same for one week, then dropped a 1lb a day until today...this is the starting of my 4th week...I'm down 30lbs... feeling great!
