Ok, so last night I was up working on some make up assignments for my anatomy class. I suddenly had a craving for the raisen bran that was in my kitchen (My boyfriend and I are staying with his parents until we move out of state this summer, and believe me, that is one of the best things in the house that they buy for themselves) I decieded to induldge without reading the box. I had about 3/4 of a cup, maybe a little less. I figured, Raisen Bran is healthy and a old favorite, and a much better choice than frsted flakes.

When I logged it in MFP this morning, my less than full serving had 30 something carbs!!!! WTH?! Ugh. Thats what I get for not reading the box. At least it has fiber!

Every now and then I indulge in All Bran. I only eat a serving size, which is 1/4 cup. ( see- if we only pay attention to serving size! LOL) I mostly do it to help "get things moving" if I am a little slow. But it also helps with the cold Cereal cravings I will have now and then. Yes it is carbs, but sometimes it is the great good. Just don't make it a habit, bad ones are what got us in trouble to start with!

Raisin bran sounds good. I'll have Multigrain Cheerios with 1% milk and splenda when I need a Cereal fix. I can never seem to gauge how much it takes to fill me up though, and wind up throwing out a lot of it. I used to eat a lot of Special K Protein cereal pre-surgery, but it just doesn't seem to appeal to me now.

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞
