Question...?

There is a lot of judgement going on here. No one knows what a person is going through in their life. Who are we to judge them? I agree it is frustrating to see people seriously fall off the wagon on their food plan. But we are not them. They fight their battles and we fight ours.

It does irk me. But I don't let it bother me. The ones that 3 weeks post op want to eat everything they had before and of course when it fails they blame everyone or everything but themselves. That's the part that irks me. I don't think it's really judging if they put it out there that their wls failed but oh wait they ate a gallon of ice cream and half of that pie just to see if they could.

But I just stop reading those and stick to the success and plastic surgery stories cause that's what I want during this ride. I love waking up and weighing in each morning, and even at only 26 pounds down the joys of shopping! That beats some desire for sugar or sweets that I used to have. Most of us went through too much to even get the surgery, why even want to waste these amazing tools?

Yeah I hate reading the posts regarding cheating. I need more inspiration and motivation. Not if I eat this, or if I eat that. That is literally asking for failure.

And I'm not meaning it to be judgmental, I meaning it because I went through so many hoops to have my surgery, recovery from surgery, loosing weight, and I don't want to go back to be heavy and medicated from obesity.

Stay strong and stay focused.

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞
