Pulling pain on right side?

Recommended Posts

Well over the past 2-3 days I've developed a "pain" on the right side of my abdomen. It feels like a pulling pain. I don't feel it when sitting, but when I stand up and move it is there. I can eat and drink like normal. I did run two 5k's last weekend and I'm hoping it is stemming from that. Anyone experience something similar?

Most of us feel stuff on the left side. Not much going on on the right. Could be completely disconnected to your band?

Sometimes the pain is more intense then other times. I can totally feel pulling around my port when I do a lot of ab work so I know that sensation, but this right sided pain throws me. I am going to call the surgeon in the morning to see about getting in for them to check me out.

You could have pulled a muscle. Or it could be liver or gall bladder related.

msapp77 I have the exact same pain. When I do more physical activity it becomes dull and only rest settles it back down. I have had mine since surgery. My doctor has told me it is normal, associated with my port. Over time it has lessened and is only noticeable when I am very active. Hope that helps!!!

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞
