Any 2014 June Sleevers

I couldn't find a June Sleevers forum. If there is one already please direct me!

Well anyway, I'm glad excited that I finally got a date, June 5th. I really wanted it to be sometime during the end of May but that didn't happen. My family will be going out of town, to Disney to be specific, a few days after my surgery because my cousin from Mexico will be making his fist trip here. I'm so sad I won't be joining them but my parents keep telling me I need to look at the bigger picture, or should I say smaller. Haha. I have my preop appointment May 27th. I'm curious as to what kind of diet he will put me on! I'm just excited to get this going! So who else has a June Date? Who is hoping for a June Date? Are you ready yet? Nervous? Excited?

June 20th is going to be here before I know it ... it really helps just to think of so many of us going through this surgery at the same time. It is scary, but it is far more frightening for me to remain at this weight (and growing). I have been practicing with chewing my food more slowly, sipping Water, trying out various shakes .... a lot of what you all are doing. I did start the Vitamin regimen already. I am also watching You Tube videos. I am excited for me and for all of us.

I was told that I could use the Flintstones vitamin twice a day. But after my surgery I found a website that you submit you insurance information to see if it is covered and they will send you your multivitamin in the liquid form your supplements and cream for your scares after surgery. I will get the website and post it ok.

Patric1,

Which vitamins are you taking ? Also, for those of you that are post op which ones are recommended ?

Hi! I am having the sleeve, so all I need to take is the multi, vitamin B-12, and calcium. I take Vita-Fusion gummies because I suck at pills, always have. I won't be able to take them while I am on the liquid only phase post-op, but there's another option for me at that time. My NUT approved these, but there may be differences with other people's programs. I love them.

Im scheduled June 20th very excited!!

Queenie: me too - we have the same date. Very very excited!

Im scheduled June 20th very excited!!

June 16, 2014! I am not trying to wish my days away but will be happy when its over and I am in recovery mode :)

6 days to go!

June 12th! I am so excited about starting a new chapter in my life. I began the pre-op diet today. They said they would like to see a 10lb loss before surgery. I'm going to give it my best shot!
