Troubles when sleeping

Recommended Posts

To almost a week since I had surgery and ever since I came home I have been having the most difficult time sleeping. My head positioning is horrific and gives me a headache at the right side of the back of my head. Then it's hard to bring myself up since my body slouches down to the point that u fear I'm straining myself getting up from the bed. I have even tried to recliner and sofa and nothing is good for me; same results. I'm getting so frustrated but also worried due to not wanting to strain and catch some kind of hernia and end up getting opened up again. It's getting so hard when you're trying you're all with this 90% of the time by yourself.

Any chance you can buy or borrow either a full body pillow or a pregnancy pillow? I have heard people find it a lot easier to sleep with something to prop/brace themselves with. I wish I had had something like that! I struggled with sleeping for the first week-10 days as well. It does get better but it's hard to get through those first several nights.

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞
