Former SlimBand patients looking for a fill adjustment nurse in Toronto

Recommended Posts

I am looking for a place in Toronto (GTA) where I can get a fill adjustment. Some clinics are asking $5.00.00 just for registration with them! Supposedly that's how much they need 'to take care of me'!!! Is there a place where you can go and get a fill like in the old times?

Sorry RoseIvy… I guess since I don't know what a slim band is nor do I live anywhere near Toronto I have no assistance to offer. Good luck hope you find someone to offer assistance.

I'm confused - you are a Slimband patient but they won't do your fills?

Exactly! The trick is, when I had a surgery it was called 'LapBand' and now it is called 'SLimBand' plus my surgeon resigned. They don't want to talk to me!

Lap band, Slim band…. If they are the same thing why wouldn't any bariatric doctor fill it? Do they have Fill clinic's in your area? I know here they are few and far between. Is there another doctor that you could go to? Good luck!

Right now it is a total chaos in Toronto as far as fills-defills are concerned. There isn't one place I can go to.

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞
