I know I asked this same question a year ago. But things might of changed. I like hearing other people's lapband stories. I'm curious to know if you know of any men that are documenting their journey on youtube.

Seems like the vast majority of videos are women eh? I opened a search on youtube and once I found one male video and clicked on it, other male videos surfaced.

LOL...No offense to the women but men seem to focus on the numbers and less on the feelings part of the journey. Good luck.

It's funny you mentioned YouTube. I just did a blog entry about YouTube Vlogs. Mine was more of rant. I watched too many Negative Nancy's warning the world about how bad the Lap Band is. I definitely agree with 2muchfun about women focusing on the emotional aspects of their journey, I guess that's just how most of us are hard wired.

I nominate the two of you to start a YouTube channel about your weight loss journey. Since 2muchfun is close to meeting his goal he could do a picture montage.

I'd subscribe!

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞
