Feeling guilty for not being able to stop sodas. I have surgery in less than two months. I can go a day without My Precious and then I have one...then two....maybe three cokes. Im becoming more active so im down a couple pounds but eating crap food too often. Why do I snack while reading especially if im reading about weight loss? Gotta get ahold of my eating habits. My dr office has behavior modification classes but they dont start until after surgery.

I completely understand. I was a soda fiend but knowing how dangerous it was after surgery I sorta just cut it cold turkey. I haven't had any since December. RARELY I will allow if I'm having a rum and diet coke. Maybe switch to diet first then slowly cut it out.

I snack too...cheezits are my weakness. I can eat a whole box and not realize it until I'm hitting plastic. It's terrible. Something I started to do was measure out a serving and put the box AWAY! Do you have a date yet?

Mmm cheez its.

Lol

I do have a date. July 22. I know I have a two week pre op liquid diet and am trying to make improvements now but I guess im not taking it seriously enough. Time for some changes

july 22nd for me cant wait

july 22nd for me cant wait

July 22 for me too. :) surgery twins! Lol

Check in all how's everyone doing now. Lost ten more pounds here. So total of 50 preop so far. So ready to get this journey underway

I have been eating like it is the last supper! I am eating very bad like I am saying a long goodbye to food. I have done so much research and one study says that results are not related to food addiction.. Very promising. People don't think I'm 'fat enough' for surgery,, lol! Just pudgy I suppose. They don't get the hypertension and sleep apnea that I was able to stop with previous weight loss. I work out all the time and people tell me that is more important than being smaller. I am taking this journey for ME. I have a desk job and have gained over 50 lbs over the last 10 years. Ok,, vent over! Therapeutic!

July 16th i wi be getting sleeved. I am so excited. I am trying to get everything prepared so I will have a smooth recovery. It seems that the days are flying by. I found out yesterday that my boss is getting banded on July 16th too. How cool is that :).

My surgery date is July 17 I am feaking out!!! I feel jam not prepared and feel I am forgetting everything I learned in my 6 week class !! Oh and I have a fear of protein drinks!!! Help!!!!
