Hey my surgery was July 28th w dr pierce! He was awesome & the nursing staff including NA's were the best! Let me know your thoughts. Hw:235 SW:222 left hospital at 322???? but he said not to worry! !

Sorry left hospital a 233lbs and I am 5'6

Thstcurvygirl...we are very similar. My surgery was 7-31. Starting weight 255 and goal for now is 180 because I'm 6 foot tall and then will reevaluate once I've reached that goal. Things are going good, just ready I chew on something besides jello and Popsicles lol

I am really struggling lately. I am still losing weight and am down from 242 at start of surgery investigation, 232 before start of liquid diet, 217 at time of surgery to 174.4. The problem is I find myself hungry or thinking about food much more often than I was before. I find myself doing the non thinking just shoving of food/chocolate in my mouth. It makes me wish I had had gastric bypass so I had disgusting effects when I ate fats/sweets. As well, I am perpetually tired and irritated. I have a hard time staying awake during work, focusing, and yet when I lay down at night I have a hard time falling asleep. I want to ring my toddlers necks all the time and feel like I cannot stand them especially before that time of the month. I want to tell off random strangers for their stupidity or behavior. I live in a perpetual state of fear of turning back into my old self in regards to food addiction and regaining the weight as I have always done in the past. Has anyone else felt like this? Does anyone have any ideas?
