  1. Sleeved August 15th. Down 45lbs. Weight loss had slowed way down but it's moving!
  2. I feel fine. Trying to find different foods I can tolerate kind of sick of soup and yogurt. Still not a big fan of eggs.
  3. Sleeved August 15th. Began at 220lbs. Today 180lbs 45 to go
  4. OK so I have not been on here so much since surgery. I'm going to be honest. I hate the changes to this app. I liked it better before. It's harder to maneuver through now and find things. Anyways that being said on with the numbers. Surgery date was 8/15/14 weighed 220lbs. Today I'm at 184lbs. 4 lbs from 40lbs lost Yayyyy. Hope all is well with everyone!
  5. In the same suit still got a ways to go. Bad camera and messy bathroom lol
  6. Only one month out. Picture on the right was taken the end of July. Surgery on August 15th. Yesterday marked 4 weeks out so I took another picture. Surgery date I was 220lbs. Today 191
  7. I was in the 15th lost 18lbs the first week. Then it slowed to mere ounces a day. Now it's 12 oz to a lb again in my 3rd week. At one week out the Dr ordered me to eat soft foods and that's what caused it for me. I wasn't getting enough calories and blacking out. I started at 220 now today I'm at 195
  8. I'm a little more than 2 wks out. I've lost 23.2lbs and I lose 4 oz a day now. It's making me crazy. I work out swim and eat right and it's crawling now. As hard as I work at this it should be more results!
  9. Feels normal. Just get full faster
  10. Good luck honey. And walking really does help. I walked sipped took my meds and slept.
  11. Well I found something that does not agree with my new tummy. Premier protein strawberry flavored. I took about 4 sips and my tummy felt sore and now I'm in the bathroom an hour later. Tmi.
  12. I pureed the hell out of it and I'm doing fine its on my stage 2 which is day 3. Ask your doc
  13. You and I had similar start. I began at 218. Now 4 days post op I'm at 206lbs. I can't wait to throw away those 16's!
  14. 4th day out and 12 lbs gone! I hope this continues until I at least got onederland! 6 lbs to go! Loving cottage cheese today. Yummy. Taking me 3 hours to eat almost 1/2 cup! How's everyone doing today?
  15. OK Yes I'm 45 years old and I was afraid to tell certain family members. But more importantly did not want to tell my mom because she just was diagnosed with diabetes and high blood pressure. She worries about everyone but herself. So today I bit the bullet and told her. She took it well but really had no choice because it's done.
  16. I'm 3 days post op and down 10lbs . I am pretty sore and tired very tired. I'm sipping and walking and trying for some protein as well. I use the unflavored syntrax to help with the protein amount and the whey protein fruit punch in my water has 42 grams of protein. I can lay on my side pretty easily with a pillow, Which took much longer with the gallbladder surgery. I had hiatal hernia repair as well. Thanks for asking about me. Glad to hear how well you're doing that's awesome! What do you eat for breakfast lunch dinner? Snacks?
  17. That's good to know. I just walked up and down my street with my husband we are going to add a little more each day
  18. I've worked on getting in liquids and my protein. I'm 3 days post-op and I've snuck in whey protein fruit punch in my water and that's 42 grams of protein and unflavored nectar protein to the broth. But I can only get 300 calories in.
  19. I had surgery on 8/15/14. I just noticed how swollen my right hand is. I was poked a lot to get the iv just right. Should I be alarmed with the swelling?
  20. I am sipping I'm really quite sore still but I keep moving gas pain is almost all gone. Thank God. That was not fun.
  21. I didn't have a button. I just told the nurse and she gave me my medicine through my iv. But the codeine they sent home is nasty. I took a pill yesterday. They are relatively small and I felt fine. I think it's feeling a little better. But it's just like when I had my gallbladder removed. The pain to get up and lie down is so excruciating. I used my pillow but Ouch
