  5. Wow keep me posted I'm on Friday
  6. Awesome I'm feeling better already. How did you all do adjusting to the new way to eat and how much we can eat?
  7. Cool. I'm glad your experience was good. I'm going to be down off of Flamingo at the surgery center for oband with dr lyass. I am going to be so scared I think. My husband wants me to be happy but I think he is really scared too
  8. Thanks guys this is helping me to get ready psychologically and not be so nervous. I think I'm more nervous about being able to drink/eat afterwards and do everything right after surgery. I had gallbladder surgery a few months ago. I was really sore. It was extremely hard to get up out of bed for about a week. I had a single incision robotic surgery and I was a big baby with the pain for about 3 days. I hope I do better with this surgery. I am prepared that's for sure.
  9. I know everyone's is different, but could someone please tell me what to expect when I wake up from surgery. As much detail as possible.
  10. Thank you. Hearing lower bmi patients lose slower? I'm going to work out as soon as I can. I'm going to do my best to stay on this program to the letter! I want this!
  11. Everyone is different but guessing if I exercise it will be a lot more than if I don't. Most people hit stalls at 3 months because they don't work out so I'm going to really try to be diligent on the working out as well as the diet. I've been told I can get back in the pool one week post op. I love to swim. My friend from work is probably about 50lbs more than me. She had surgery in February and is now at 70lbs down, so an average of 10lbs per month. But she does not work out at all.
  12. Hi I'm having surgery in 6 days. I'm a low bmi as well. I was told not to lose anything. No pre op diet or liquid diet until after surgery. We'll see how it goes.
  13. 6 more days. ... Going to work every day 6-2 until surgery day. Goals to get done each day. Today, clean out the fridge
  14. We were told we could wear make up but no jewelry
  15. So 4 hours of a lot of information! Wow. Surgery is 8/15/14 @1:30pm Woo hoo
  16. I'm in the parking lot waiting for my 8am appointment for a 4 hour pre op. It will be 7 days from now and I'll be pulling up to have my surgery. My heart is in my throat when I think about it but I'm excited and ready. I'm not sure about what all they will do today. I know I'll have my picture taken and weighed in and told what to expect the day of surgery, but that's it. Here we go.
  17. How's the scaring from that surgery?
  18. I'm having mine on August 15th. I'm not required to do a pre op but I feel I need to. Will you help me get ready for surgery? I will follow a liquid diet for 7 days with you
  19. Countdown. ...8 days til surgery
  20. Pre op on Friday. 4 hours. 8am-12 then surgery the 15th
