I am 3 days post op amd have this horrible feeling like i need to belch but it wont come out. Havnt had any solids only liquid. I dont know what this is and it feels like when i swallow i can feel a ball of air slide down and thats painful also. Am i over worrying?

Forgot to mention the pain is on my left side of my belly next to my port.

Ladyj - I had surgery the same day as you. I also have some pressure on my chest and feel like I need to burp but I can't. It is very frustrating. Luckily, I have been able to release gas out the other end. Hope you are feeling better soon!

So glad you are walking! I feel like that really kicked my body into healing mode, releasing any trapped gas but also the incisional healing, etc. Other animals do this naturally but we humans have to force ourselves.

Yes its been rough i am releasing some of the gas just can get this pressure or bubble out of my chest. I see my np thursday maybe she will have some helpful ideas.
