Jan 13, 2014 Sleeved Friends

I'm curious, how many calories are you Jan 13 sleevers eating a day now? I'm up to between 800 and 900, which seems like TOO much. Is it?

MJM, congrats on a period on your own! Like you said, in God's timing for conception.

Hello Jane. My NUT said around 800 calories right now. I don't think I'm getting that much, but I aim for the 70-80 grams of Protein. Some days I still have to have 2 Protein Shakes to get it all in, and I'm not eating anything but protein at my meals.

I wonder how everyone else is faring!!!????

Hi everyone!

I doubt I'm getting around 800-900 calories a day but I do get my Protein in. I have to have at least 1 shake a day... And maybe a Protein Bar. It seems like I'm not eating a lot again. I just started back walking and bought some good shoes. Hopefully my weight loss (pounds) starts back falling off.

I bought some Atkins meals and they're great! They're small portions, I can eat a whole meal and get about 15-25g of protein from it. And they're about 300 calories! Kind of expensive though but I can just take those for lunch at work!

Hi Sierra, I bought some Atkins meals, too. Pretty good stuff! I like the turkey medallion one, but wish the sauce wasn't all over the green Beans. The chili con carne is good when I want something spicy.

Where is everyone?

Things are going well for me, and I hope all you others are doing great!

Hi everybody!

I have had a bad eating weekend! I still have no self control...well I do have better self control than before but not as good as I should

You know those mini bite size twix snickers an Reese? We have them at work and for the past 4 days I've had 5 a day! I'm so frustrated with myself. U have nothing at home which is wonderful. But when I get real bust at work I'll grab a mini bite!.

I lost 3 pounds last week and in thinking about deleting the scale this week.

Glad Evernote is doing well!

I need a knee replacement, so the only exercise I can really do is in the pool. It's still a bit brisk out there for me here in Florida, even though the pool is heated. Since I can't go until evening, it starts cooling off. It should warm up soon.

I'm not sleeping well at all and am exhausted all the time. Is anyone else having sleep issues?

I have walking since day 2 of my surgery. I start slow for 15 min and worked my way up to 2 miles a day. For a month I was doing a zumba class and 2 circuit classes a week along with the walking. It stalled my loss, I was told by my doctor it was too much, so I stopped as of last week and my loss have started already. I am still walking but no classesfor now. My advice is to start slow work your way up but not too much.

Thanks everyone. I'm working my way up too! I went to the doctor yesterday- I lost 11 more lbs in 4 weeks! I'm really happy with how things have been. Don't have a lot of endurance but it'll come in time I'm sure! :-)

My goal is to reach 50 lbs down by 16 weeks!

How's everyone else doing?

Hi Everyone....Had my Sleeve Surgery on Jan 13, 2014....

SW 260 lbs

CW 195 lbs

I'm in my 4th week of the C25K workout, (Couch to 5K). It's super hard but I'm not giving up. I've been stuck at my current weight for weeks. I've tried increasing my calories, but I'm only able to get in about 1000 per day. Any advise?

Thanks-Mel

I have no clue where to upload this, so I'll put it here. This is pre-op vs the morning of my 6 month appointment! In office I weight 232, that's 88 lbs down since my highest weight, 75 lbs since my surgery weight! I can't believe this jacket fit... I am smaller now than the last time I was this size which the surgeon found really amusing. He's happy with where I am in my weight loss and estimates I'll be around 200 lbs by my 1 year anniversary! My lowest weight as an adult is 195, so that's pretty damn exciting to think I'll be near that at a year. Everything from there will be unknown territory!!

So proud of you Cat. Getting into those smaller size clothes is half the fun isn't it?. Keep up the good work!!!!

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

That's brilliant! You've done amazing!! I should probably think about changing my profile picture at some point. Mine is the doll from Squid Games. Ironically the whole premise of the show is about dodging death. We've both done that...

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks
