Feeling deprived ... Does that go away?

I'm almost a week post op and my stomach growls all the time. I'm always hungry and it drives me crazy. I'm going to ask my surgeon Thursday when I get my staples out but it's terrible. I'm good at getting every Vitamin and every ounce of Protein in that I need to but am still hungry. I thought for a few days this was a mental thing but I've been waking up in the middle of the night because my stomach is growling so bad. Don't know why I'm an exception but it's so annoying. Luckily I know I can't eat anything other than the delicious pureed food I've been enjoying. :-/

My tummy growled a lot for the first couple weeks so much so at night that we had to run a fan cause hubby and I would start laughing at the noise and laughing hurt....by the 3rd week it died down and would only growl when I smelt something really yummy...for me it really played with my mind being so use to that starving to death feeling when I heard or felt my tummy rumble but I stuck to my plan and put something in my tiny tummy every 3 to 4 hours and told myself its my old tummy fighting the change...now 7 weeks out very rarely does he grumble...good luck to you

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞
