Rushed to hospital 5 days post op

I was rushed to the hospital last night via ambulance after experiencing severe pain and nausea, in the middle of a snowstorm.

My blood pressure was 60/25 which I'm told is extremely dangerous. Pumped me with fluids and BP came up to 107/55.

Cat scan revealed bleeding and they are still not sure what's going on. May have more surgery. Pain is still pretty bad.

Follow-up appointment with surgeon for second surgery yesterday. He's very pleased with my progress recovering from both surgeries and he's very happy with my weight loss. He started me on soft foods, which was awesome. I'd become so intolerant of Protein shakes that I'd just stopped using them. My protein for several days was almost nothing and calories probably averaging around 100/day. Now, starting with cottage cheese and yogurt, progressing to scrambled eggs soon. Hoping it's smooth sailing from here ...

So happy to hear your recovery proceeding well.

Fingers crossed for a smooth and complete recovery this time around.
