Gobble! Gobble! Turkey Day Pics!

Ok all you post op sleevers! How did you spend your day?? Did you take any pics? I'm like the "selfie" queen these days :P But today for thanksgiving my little family unit did our traditional thanksgiving at the beach. For the last 6 years I cook everything the day before (and they all eat like piggies) then on thanksgiving proper we pack up turkey sandwiches and spend the day giving thanks at the beach :) Here are some of my pictures, Please show me some of yours! :)post-167126-0-65615700-1385692079_thumb.jpg post-167126-0-06043400-1385692118_thumb.jpg post-167126-0-63382500-1385692161_thumb.jpg post-167126-0-39120000-1385692207_thumb.jpg post-167126-0-29619500-1385692244_thumb.jpg

Thanksgiving was wonderful though we were short 1 brother and 1 sister this year. The food was delicious and I ate with sleeve compliance and enjoyed every bite but the absolute best dessert was having my college daughter home for the weekend.

This looks like a great day!!

Look at all the smiles!!!

Wonderful pics and beautiful families!

Lol how do you notice these things :P

Lol how do you notice these things :P

Us food addicts notice certain things.....biscuits, bacon, oversized piece of pumpkin pie given to a young child....things like that.

Is that a biscuit I see? Damn I miss biscuits.

Sorry, but I have the occasional biscuit. :)

Nicolanz, I almost didn't recognize YOU! You're so tiny...BEAUTIFUL!

Aww thank you! You made my day!

Nicolanz you look so hot! Good job and glad to see your back.......Missed ya!

This is a few of my pictures of my family yesterday. I did the cooking and they did most of the eating! The first one is my youngest daughter with my grandchildren and the second one is my oldest one with her new baby.

Those kids are so adorable!

So which one is the surf instructor? (Of the daughters I mean, not the grand kids so much ) :)

The younger one is the surf instructor. Thank you about the grandkids I can't kiss them enough!

What a beautiful family! You all look fantastic! :P

Sadly, this is the only photo I have of myself from turkey day. My husband took it while I was resting before people started showing up and he was watching football. I really need to work on my double chin. Chin ups? Lol

HaHa I need to work on my turkey neck! Gobble, gobble, gobble....... LOL

It doesn't seem the same when people in our family our missing.....It's just not the same. :(

My son cooked for us and had to leave before we ate to go to his girl friend's parents house to see her sister...It just wasn't the same. It felt empty.....:P Cheers to our upcoming Xmas! May it be about family and not about food. Damn I really hate seeing all my favorite foods and not being able to eat much......:P

Sorry, but I have the occasional biscuit. :)

My problem with the occasional biscuit is that it also needs occasional gravy. And then it needs to be more than occasional. :)

Well I am glad thanksgiving is over!! Getting all of us in one location at once has been known to attract coyotes....

I have not ha surgery so I ate like a queen and enjoyed it, as this will be my last holiday pig out ever!

Here my 4yr old Stella enjoying her Pumpkin Pie. :)

Which surgery did you decide to get?

Hey Butter, I decided to get the.........drumroll please........SLEEVE!!!

[i decided to get the.........drumroll please........SLEEVE!!!

YAY!! Good luck!!

Good choice. Clearly its because us Sleevers are the coolest of the bunch. Fact.

<throws the hand grenade and awaits the holier than thou collateral whinging and faux protestations of cross-surgery love and appreciation>

Muahaha :P

Loved all your photos!! Wish we had Thanksgiving. I was lucky to experience one in 1999 when I worked in the States. One of my best holidays ever!!
