Did u have any issues getting ur liquids or food in?

For me liquids was good. I was more sore of course but that's cause the surgery was fresh.

Hey everyone. I know my surgery was open (not laparoscopic) but I'm still not feeling it. I can barley get up by myself still. This is horrible. I have a high tolerance for pain but I'm still soooo sore.

Just the 27?? No wonder, mine was laparoscopy and it took me at least a week to start feeling better. I had a lot of pain because the gas was trapped and I had a very hard time getting rid of it. Just wait and you will feel better, I know how it sounds but I was there, it took a little more than others but now I feel good. My surgery was 2/11 and I am still having trouble with the protein and liquids but I keep working on it. Be positive!!

Had my sleev 2/10 at 2.5 weeks was down 14 lbs. haven't weighed myself since. I haven't exercised yet... Did anyone see an increase in weight loss when the started to exercise???? I need encouragement of some sort, kind of disappointed :/

Bodie, I'm two weeks out and still have trouble. But it gets better each day. I promise. Hang in there sweety.

I also am two weeks out and only getting about half the water and protein in so far. And am constipated again. Drank miralax yesterday and nothing so far. But stomach gurgling so maybe today will he my lucky day. LOL!!!

Hey guys! I am now 1 week post-op! I have lost 10 lbs since surgery 2/25! I am still on clear liquids and still getting to know my pouch. My first follow up with the surgeon is on Monday. I've not had too much pain and I get around and do most things by myself, except for lifting. I feel so bad for the people on here that have had trouble with straining abdominal incisions. I simply can not wait to move on to puréed diet! Also, I know my calorie intake is very low, but I can not wait to start back doing my Insanity workouts! I feel like I'm being lazy sitting on the couch! Too much ice and snow outside to do any walking. I hope that everyone continues to make strides in recovery! No one's story is the same and some have more complications than others. Just take it day by day and remember why you decided to go on this journey!

the healing seems to be going slow. He cut over the top of my other scar and maybe that's why it's so sore. It goes from my chest bone to about 8 inches down the middle of my belly. No they didn't staple. It is dissolving stitches.

Does anyone else wake up with a dry mouth? I have been getting 48oz + of water in but I still wake up extremely thirsty! I am 2 and a half weeks out so just curious !

I do, and with extremely dry lips .. I'm 8 days out

Yup! And I feel like my lips are always chapped lately, too. Though I do live in Antarctica aka the Michigan Tundra. Haha.
