  1. Don't feel bad. Yogurt is good protein. If you said you ate a pint of ice cream then I'd be worried. I actually eat 3 oz of choc frozen yogurt every night for desert with some pb2 powder on it. It's only 50 cals and tastes delicious. Been doin that for 4 months and I'm down 74 lbs... You'll be ok!
  2. Starting about 3 weeks after surgery ( I'm a band to sleeve revision and my big incision was extremely sore until then) I began walking. I walk 2 miles a day 5 days a week. I try to jog during that but I have to work towards that
  3. Thank god it's not only me .... I LIVE in old navy clothes and I'm falling out of my 20 torrid jeans but I put on 20 old navy and can't get them over my calves :-( very discouraging

  7. I've been on depo for 12 years and have never gotten pregnant
  8. I had it done. Didn't even know it was done till the next day. It makes the larger incision a little more sore but no big deal.
  9. I had it. We have internal stitching in order to keep us from getting incisional hernias. I pulled a stitch at wk 3 getting out of the car. All day I was fine but the next morning I cried just to go to the bathroom 5 feet away. Take it easy and use a heating pad. It will get better. I'm 9 weeks now and every once in a while it's sore but no pain
  10. I use Pepcid complete and it gets rid of my heartburn in about 10 min
  11. I had my revision Feb 25, 2014 and I've lost 47 lbs in those 7 weeks. Feeling great!

  14. Surgery Feb 25 Down 31 lbs since surgery, 46 lbs total
  15. I was put on Prevacid as a preventative measure. I was given zofran once through iv but it didn't work so they quickly changed to Reglan. I was given rx promethazine to drink while home but I never had any reason to use it, and compression stocking were used during and after surgery until that night when I was up walking every hour. I had no complications. I don't have sleep apnea so I can't answer the cpap questions .
  16. I was implying that he shouldn't be shy in general. It had nothing to do with him posting in the ladies forum
  17. You shouldn't be shy... You're gorgeous!

  19. What field would YOU say a CNA works in!?!?! The hospital is a medical facility .. They work in the hospital.... Ergo they are in the medical field! I'm in grad school to be a psychologist so I will tell people that I'm in the mental health field ... Should I not say that because I'm a psychologist and not a psychiatrist???
  20. Yes, I'm on all normal food. Had chicken for dinner as a matter of fact
  21. I'm 6 weeks out. When can we start eating those? I never make my protein goal
  22. Teach me!!! Lol. I'm 6 weeks out and down 42 lbs. 13 of that from pre op. I always eat protein first and only drink water!!! I want to lose 120 more pounds. Seems sooo unreachable but clearly it is
  23. I was on full liquids for 2 weeks after surgery until I was allowed pureeds for 2 weeks then soft for 2 weeks
  24. As long as the chicken is not too dry then yes I can have all kinds of meat. I don't eat beef so not sure about that
  25. Anyone having trouble with their brains making us feel like we are doing something wrong. I'm doing wonderfully. I'm 5 weeks out, down 42 lbs .. Walking 3 miles a day 5 days a week. I'm fortunate to be able to eat everything in 1/4 to 1/2 cup portions only. Currently eating about 700-800 calories per day. The problem is my brain tells me if I put something in my mouth that actually tastes good, it must be bad. For lunch I had a sourdough chicken Sammy from Jack n the box but I removed everything except the grilled chicken breast and cheese. It ended up being 200 cals and 31gms of protein. Healthy right??? My brain says NO! What can I do to get my brain in order?
