  1. Wow. I have a vitamix .. What is the recipe?
  2. My recovery was exactly the same as with Lapband except my biggest incision hurt a little more with the hernia repair
  3. That's strange. Those are usually the 2 most tolerable things ... Def ask why
  4. 5 weeks out today... Just started exercising. Walked a mile and a half and burned 200 calories.. I'm only eating about 700 so burning 200 works for me. Down 27 lbs since surgery and 42 lbs total!!
  5. My surgery took about 2.5 hours... Band to sleeve and hiatal hernia repair
  6. As I am growing up... My besties and I are growing apart
  7. I was sleeved Feb 25 Hw: 324 Sw: 309 Cw: 284 I haven't thrown up once and I seem to be tolerating everything. I think I'm at the dreaded stall 5 weeks out though
  8. I had my lapband for 6 years! I am 4 weeks out from my Revision and down 40 lbs. even if the weight loss ends up being slower ( which is not the case right now) I will be happy because today I ate 1 egg and a piece of bacon without that god awful stuck feeling in my chest and I didn't have to spend 30 min in the bathroom spitting. That alone was worth my revision. I also had sick people all around me till the day of surgery. Luckily I didn't catch it until a week after. You will do great!!! Get that band outta there!!
  9. Mary, I had my lapband for 6 years! 10. I get it if I drink in the middle of the night or first thing in the morning
  11. I bought one of those but not sure if I'm supposed to eat the nuts ( 4 weeks out)
  12. Well said. I was 4 weeks yesterday and I'm just starting to feel a little normal but still tired
  13. I'm 4 weeks today. I don't know if you noticed but right after surgery, the bottom left portion of the stomach is numb. Now it's not so numb. My side is just starting to feel better since I pulled the muscle in week 2. It will get better
  14. I had my revision on Feb 25... My Dr said out of the 1000 he's done, he only couldn't perform 1... It's rare that you wake up without a sleeve! You'll do fine!
  15. Mine was the 25th. Just transitioned to food today but my tummy didn't like the raw onion. Maybe grilled next time
  16. I'm having a Morningstar veggie patty and I love onion. Am I allowed onion at 4 weeks out?
  17. I am 4 weeks tomorrow and starting eggs yesterday. I could only eat 1/2 egg
  18. I had a hiatal hernia that no one knew about until my actual surgery. It's no big deal and doesn't make a difference to how you feel except the large incision may be a little more sore since that's the one they use to fix everything. I was also a band to sleeve so they used that hole to take out my band and port as well. Easy breezy! Let me know if you have any more questions
  19. I live on the west coast too and I'm searching and can't find it. Do you have time warner cable?
  20. Hi all, Totally normal. See the link below. I had the same problem and last weekend I couldn't walk to the bathroom without crying. Now my internal stitches have loosened a bit and I feel so much better. I'll be 4 weeks on Tuesday http://www.bariatricpal.com/topic/301202-sharp-pain-at-wound-site-3-weeks-post/
  21. Mmmm I had a half of a boca burger with cheese on top. Deeeeeelish!!! It's the first thing I've chewed in a month
  22. Good luck to you. I had my revision on Feb 25.,. Down 39 lbs
  23. At least there is no leaks. Maybe it's just a really bad muscle pull. Hope you feel better soon!
