  2. Hi there! I would love to participate in a support group. Dr. Husain is my surgeon as well. :-). I am unable to make it to the support groups at good Sam because I don't get off work in time. Can I also be added to your Facebook group? Hanleyrenee@yahoo.com

  4. I'm 18 days out of surgery. I lost all of the weight that I've lost so far in the 10 days of clear liquids and not one bit since I got off clears. Trying to stay calm!

  6. I'm also band to sleeve conversion on 4/10. I also have quite a bit of pain. I can only take small sips at a time. If I take more then a small sip it is very painful. I'm just trying to be patient and sip sip sip. Everything tastes terrible. Crystal light burns going down. The liquid pain meds burn going down. It's difficult to swallow jello so I swish it in my mouth until it is liquid. If I lay flat I get reflux. This is all a lot more uncomfortable then I prepared for. But, I am just taking it day by day. I know it will get better soon. It helps to come on this site and read everyone's else's posts. At least I know I'm not alone!
  7. Had my band to sleeve revision done on the 10th. I'm doing great so far. Pain is there but not unbearable. I have a really dry mouth and a gross taste in there that makes everything taste terrible. But I force myself to keep on sipping! I am so happy to have the surgery behind me. Did anyone else have an April 10th surgery?
  8. Tomorrow I start my 3 day clear liquid diet. Surgery on Thursday, April 10th! I can't believe it is finally here! I'm so excited that all the nerves seem to be gone. I'm just ready to start dropping the pounds and feeling better!
  9. My surgery day is approaching quick! I'm having band to sleeve revision on April 10th. Years of problems and regaining all my weight has brought me back to what feels like square one. I've spent the last few months training my mind that this is a lifestyle change. I am completely ready. But I have this nagging fear deep down that I am going to have problems with the sleeve as well. I just want to be a healthy weight, get rid of all the aches and pains and feel better about myself once and for all. My journey is just beginning. I need all the support I can get. Anyone else having the same thoughts/fears?

  11. This is my first post on this site. I've mostly been just reading what everyone else has to say for the last couple of months. I guess I thought maybe I better get some support going since my surgery is just 2 weeks away now. I can't believe it's finally here!
