  1. Amy, I've been having this problem all weekend. I was getting better than I developed a cold/cough and have been sneezing and coughing all week. Saturday morning I got up and couldn't even walk to the bathroom without crying. I took the whole weekend to lay in bed and I'm feeling much better today. It still hurts depending on how I lay or sit but it sucks!! I'm 3 weeks out tomorrow
  2. Please explain this stitch in the side lol. Tues will be 3 weeks and I overdid it. My side is in some massive pain today plus I have a cold/cough and that's not helping my side either
  3. Thank you so much that makes me feel better... For a min I thought I was dying lol
  4. Thanks I'll be praying for it lol
  5. Kathy, Thank you so much. That does make me feel better. I think whenever I get a pain my brain automatically thinks "LEAK......BUSTED HERNIA....STEPH YOURE DYING,,," lol and since I was feeling so much better now I'm crying, that's where my brain went
  6. Ok so I'm 2 weeks out. I was healing so nicely then I developed a cold and was sneezing 10 times a day, now I have a cough and am coughing all day long. Now my big incision on the left is killer... Doesn't hurt when I'm still. No pain eating or drinking... Hurts when I try to lay other than my back and really bad when I walk. I've been walking around the mall everyday. Maybe I overdid it? Please tell me I'm gonna be ok. I'm kind of a hypochondriac. I've broken ribs on that side before and it kind of feels like that
  7. What do you mean the stitches "popped" here's a pic of the large incision. I figured all the staples dissolved cuz it's scabbed. I was literally feeling great then I decided to hit the mall and clean the bathroom. Now I cry just walking from my room to the bathroom

  9. My incisions themselves don't hurt. Mine is on the left about 2 inches under the big incision. OMG if I accidentally bend or turn in bed or something it feels like someone lit a match on my side. It was really scaring me till I read that others were having the same issue
  10. Whatever device they are using to post this will most likely cause cancer too!!!! Breathing causes cancer so I guess we all better find a bubble to live in from now on lol
  11. I had lapband removed too so they pulled everything out right around that hole
  12. I'm 2 weeks out, does anyone still have pain about 2 inches under the large incision on the left of the belly button? It was numb after surgery and still feels numb to the to touch but if I bend forward to pick something up.... Ooohhh weeee I see stars!!!
  13. I'm 2 weeks out today and just started my puréed stage. I'm curious how many calories I should b having. I had 4 oz cottage cheese, 1/2 can of split pea soup and now I'm smacking on a baby food strawberry banana, that makes about 350 cals today. Seems like so few but I guess it's a jump up from the last 3 weeks of all liquid
  14. I started puréed today. I'm 2 weeks out. Just had 1/2 cup of cottage cheese.... I swear cottage cheese never tasted so delicious lol
  15. I start puréed tomorrow and I'm trying to figure out what to eat throughout the day
  16. U throw up that much with the sleeve?? Have you talked to your doctor ?
  17. I had my crap band for 6 years. Food stuck all the time. Always in pain. Got my sleeve on Feb 25,... It's like night and day. It's so nice to have the pressure in the middle of your chest relieved.
  18. At least we are not alone. I had some yogurt and now I feel ok
  19. I didn't know I was allowed to have that. I do like sugar in the raw
  20. Hi Everyone, I am 13 days out today. Been doing great so far. Still on full liquids till tomorrow, and not getting enough Protein, but other than that, I've never had an nausea, or taken any pain medication, I'm just usually pretty tired. Today I woke up extremely nauseated. Is it normal just to wake up one morning and be nauseated when I have not experienced nausea at all up until this point? I am a bit of a hypochondriac, so every little thing that I have never felt freaks me out lol
  21. Sandee, it looks great but uggh I hate Splenda
  22. Okay, I want to hear from some veterans sleevers. At one or two years out does anybody have normal food with sugar in it? I know we are supposed to stick to the guidelines of sugar free Jell-O sugar-free pudding everything sugarfree but absolutely hate the taste of sugar free items as well as the taste of Splenda or any artificial sweeteners. As long as I eat food that has minimal Sugars isn't that better than not having full-blown sugar? A girls got to have a little flavor. For example today I had a regular popsicle. It was only 25 cal and 4 g of sugar. Is that horrible?
  23. I'm lactose intolerant so no ice cream for me. I just hate sugar free jello so I eat regular jello. I don't eat it all the time and I can't finish a whole one anyway. Everything that went down was a band favorite off me lol
