Love the pics guys !!!! Had surgery 2/18/14 and I am just about 11 months out wow time flies! Started at 241 and currently about 157....that's 84 lbs! And the most current pic Best decision I ever made!!

So I am a huge roller coaster fan. The rush is amazing and I've always been able to go on them pre op. I went last month to six flags and it was 5 months post op and the feeling I had in my stomach I will never ever attempt to feel that way again. It was like someone was squeezing my insides and not in the good way. I'm thinking it might be the tension when we drop on the coaster. And being that my stomach is smaller there might be less of it to squeeze. Anyone else having this problem? I go see my doc next week and I'm going to ask him.

Yeah i think it is. I thought about a be I'm too old for it now haha but I do think it's the surgery. I hope it goes away and I'm able to go on it. Thank god I stopped after that awful ride lol it could've been worst.

Omg you all look so great!!!!! I still can't believe it's been almost 7 months since surgery but I am so so so happy with my results results so far. So I am out little over 4 months. Bmi -》 41-31 Weight -》243-187 Height -》 5'5 Age -》 26 (in 4 days) Size-》 10/12 - 14 depends but I did buy my first pair of medium shorts yesterday (the pink ones in the pic) Even my shoe size dropped from 8 1/2 - 8 lol Mood-》 HAPPPPPYYYYY!!!! Thanks!!! And I wish u all the best! ! The first few weeks it was all mind over matter. I still wanted to eat what I saw but obvi couldn't. Just sip sip sip ur liquid. I did decaf tea every morning and my protein shakes from gnc throughout the day. It was called lean shake it's strawberry and it's delish!! I didn't follow the diet perfectly. I tried new foods and had mashed potato and diced up chicken mixed up like 4 weeks out. But my nutritionist said it's normal to try things and if I'm feeling ok that it was fine. I also go walking and started walking like 3 weeks out. Like 2 hours a day.

Thanks !! Yeah I figured I could drink it all day. How else would I get my protein? Lol I try to have fish or chicken a lot and yogurt and that shake. But I'm no where near my 65 g. I still have trouble with my vitamins. I need tastier chewables

So I try to sip my lean shake from gnc throughout the day in between meals. Is that normal? Even though it's a "meal replacement" as my mom said? She thinks I should drink it as a meal and not throughout the day. I think i can because it's protein and a liquid.

Would u guys consider the protein shakes liquid??

Cigna is awesome. They covered the whole thing. I had to have 90 days of Dr visits. I had to have a bmi of at least 40. They are awesome !!! I called them and made sure they told me it was covered. Go on cigna.com and search for bariatric and their policy comes up. It tells u what they ask for. Good luck!! Oh I'm in New York.
