Yay! Almost there. Sounds like you'll likely be here before the year ends or even sooner. :)

My next goal is to be in the 180's. I'm at 193 now so I've got a little over three pounds to get there!

That shouldn't take very long should it? Unless of course the cursed stall hits. My next goal is to hit 175 because the last time I remember being there was 19 years ago. Ugh. So looking forward to that. I'm either 5-6 lbs away depending on what my too-honest, cheating, no-good, scale tells me.

I have been at a plateau for a few days now but I'm not worried about it. I've been sick with a bad cold and unable to exercise or get to the gym for a few days. Hoping to get back there tomorrow and back to walking so I'm sure it will start moving again.

Wow! Congratulations to all of you... such an inspiration! My next real goal is to hit that 200 lb mark in 16 lbs! Getting there slowly but surely :)

Thank you so much! It feels quick right now but it is probably that I have been posting more about it. I have lost pretty steadily at least 1 kg per week, pretty much the whole journey so far. I'm so grateful for my sleeve. I'm about to be on the road for 3 weeks and I find that I lose really quickly when I travel, so we will see how that goes. I will be in India (Pune and Bangalore) and while I love the food, I find it hard to eat much and socialize, and I don't know all of my go-to foods in Indian cuisine, so I tend to accidentally fill up too quick. Especially if I attempt the naan, chapati, roti, or pulao. Or dry curries.

I have no clue where to upload this, so I'll put it here. This is pre-op vs the morning of my 6 month appointment! In office I weight 232, that's 88 lbs down since my highest weight, 75 lbs since my surgery weight! I can't believe this jacket fit... I am smaller now than the last time I was this size which the surgeon found really amusing. He's happy with where I am in my weight loss and estimates I'll be around 200 lbs by my 1 year anniversary! My lowest weight as an adult is 195, so that's pretty damn exciting to think I'll be near that at a year. Everything from there will be unknown territory!!

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞
