Mine breaking also I'm almost 3 month post op but its getting better I guess I never had any problem with skin

I would guess more likely from the insanely ridiculous hormonal fluctuations that come with the diet change and weight loss....

Call the company. You may be allergic. Maybe they will know

The short answer is, yes, absolutely. It took me awhile to figure it out but I realized that I could not use any Protein powder that has casein, every time I drink them regularly I break out in deep cystic acne.

Also impact of hormonal changes... Check with the MD, there are approaches to address!

Could also be detox... all the previous crap coming out in your skin

I found an increase in milia (milk spots) which are small keratin filled cysts under the skin when I was drinking a lot of Protein shakes. They usually appear on the cheeks and around the eyes. A diet that has a lot of protein, fats or cholesterol can contribute to milia.

I don't know if that is what you are experiencing, my when I cut back on the Protein Shakes, the milia reduced.

(In addition, I became lactose intolerant for a long time post surgery so had switched to alternate protein sources to dairy which may have made it worse but I really can't recall)
