First fill next Wednesday???!!!!!!

Recommended Posts

I have my first fill on Sept. 8th. I am a little nervous, but I know I need it. I am able to finish a whole plate and just starting to feel full. I have lost 11 lbs since surgery, but it was all eithin the fist two weeks. I am hoping that this fill really gets the ball rolling for me, because as of now, I am feeling as though I may have gone through all of this for 11 lbs.:)

It's very common that people feel that way in the post op, pre-fill stage. 11lbs is good. Don't beat yourself up. Sometimes, the first fill gives you some restriction. Sometimes you have to tweak it a little more. Remember, this is for life, there is no deadline or race.

Keep your chin up!

That's 11 pounds gone for good! They say anything lost before the first fill is a bonus. I bet your first fill will make a big difference! Best of luck to you!:)

Just wait once your filled your on your way. I just had my first Monday and I too was nervous and scared not only about the injection but how my body would react.

It's been great. I feel satisfied with smaller portions and I'm not thinking about food which is a big plus.

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞
