Ty so much I was so worried.

Don't push the protein right now. Focus on hydration. I fought the protein for a few days and realized I was fighting a losing battle and it was far more important for me, and you to focus on good hydration. When I added in protein around day 13 I had no issues hitting my levels and continue to maintain them 5.5 weeks out! Water Water Water.... Sip Sip Sip....

If you get in at least 30 or 40 on your third day you are doing great. Continue sipping your shakes as you can and be sure you are drinking enough water. If you're able to get 30 or 40 grams today, you should be able to increase your intake by 10 or 20 grams per day, each day, over the next few days. You want to make an effort to get your protein in, but you don't want to force it.

Don't panic. I wasn't even allowed protein until the 2nd week. :)

Just keep trying!

I really think people blow the whole Protein thing out of proportion. Honestly, I've been averaging about 50 a day and I'm fine. Sometimes more and sometimes less...

Concentrate more on hydration now. It's far more important. IMO

I agree with everyone.

Baby steps...concentrate on liquids any way you can get them.

Water, broth, SF popsicles. Dont get dehyrated.

The protein will increase with time.

Ty so much to all of you for your help am going to fallow your advices.

I drank ISOPURE clear drinks - much easier to get down and 20oz/40g protein a bottle. They are kinda expensive, but it was all I could do at the time. Bought at GNC or Vitamin Shoppe.

My body is asking me for water so rest of the day will sip sip sip!!!

I like the fruit punch and grape isoprene, they have smaller 6 oz bottles, try those if you can find them. Try alternating water, protein, water, protein.

I liked apple melon the best... I mean none were AWESOME to me, but they were all drinkable. Like the poster above - I also alternated with water, but concentrated more on the protein until I got in all I needed for the day.

I agree with everyone else, push the fluids, and protein for me at least it was easier if I stuck to thinner protein sources. I really liked the Unjury chicken soup and also the EAS carb control protein RTD, they are much thinner and it was easier to get them down. Just stay hydrated and alternate between the protein sources and the liquid. Sugar free popsicles in the beginning were wonderful for me and they felt good in my poor stomach. Good luck, hang in there it gets much better.
