oatmeal. Well, "love" is a tad to strong of a term. I can tolerate oatmeal now. I get about 8-10 grams of Protein from it in the morning and it holds me over until lunch.

What foods do you now like/love/tolerate since joining band-dom?

If you are needing a mix up on oatmeal try egg white oatmeal - it's scrumptious (in my opinion)

Cook oatmeal with Water like normal - when the oatmeal is almost done cooking add as much egg whites to the oatmeal as you want - cook the egg whites in the oatmeal - add 2 pkts of stevia, ground cinnamon and raisins :)

Hmm, that is a good way to get more Protein in...maybe I'll give it a try! Thanks!

I'm on a scallop kick. They are 17 g of Protein for 4 ounces and super quick to cook which is a great lunch takes no time to cook n I can warm in the microwave which is good cause I can not tolerate reheated food so lunch options need to be freshly made. N I have switched my snack to a Protein Bar I love the new direction bars from nyu no Quest bars are good. I try to get as much protein as I can in. In a pinch ill drink an Isopure :)

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞
