I had a cute design in soft pink an white, love my toe nails done!

No just fingers. The nurse will put a pulse oximeter on your finger which reads your oxygen levels and pulse. If one finger doesn't work, you have (I assume) 9 others to choose from :)

Good luck

I was told only finger nails had to be bare. The reason is, the anesthesiologist uses your nail color as a way to regulate your oxygen needs. If your nails turn blue or purple, it's a sign you may need more oxygen.

I was told no finger or toenail polish when I had the pre-op interview. Fingernails no big deal as I never wear polish (I'm a gardener and also make art -- they are pretty rough at times), but I love having my toes done. I will use this as an outing/reward post-band. Not that they'd kick me out if they found gold or fuchsia toenails but I will adhere to their protocol. Every place is different, I'm sure.

My toenails were painted....also got to keep socks on as I have for all my past procedures!

My toes were painted......red. But they gave me socks with non-skid strips on the bottom, which stayed on during surgery. They were cute.....had bears on them :D

My toes are always done... I did get to keep my socks on though!

My instructions didn't say anything about nail polish! I have acrylic nails on as I went on a feeding frenzy on my nails last week!

I has surgery this passed Monday and honestly when they said no nail-polish I just figured it included my toes! It didn't dawn on me to ask?!

My surgeon said nothing about it. I went in with pedicured toes and manicured nails lol.
