That is a great idea! I never even thought of Protein bars!! Protein Shakes are harder, I am ok with Unjury, but cannot stomach them each day. I hate drinking protein, SO I will have to get a bit more creative. My new years resolution! I am so grateful to everyone here, ddc96 (that is a heart in case it come up weird) Also to add to the other great photos, I am 2 months out tomorrow (halloween surgery) I am down a total of 88lbs. 50 prior to surgery, and 38 in 2 months. I cannot complain at that!

Holy moly!!! U look amazing girl!!!!! WOW!!!! Congrats!!! Keep up whatever u r doing!!!!!!! :)

Love the before and after pics!!! I need to find a before…

I have my 3 month appointment coming up next monday.. I'm supposed to do blood work, but I'm a little nervous about it.. I've had an infection in my tooth, long story short, the dentist opened up the tooth to let it drain and I've been on antibiotics for a couple days.. Since all of this tooth business, I have not taken any Vitamins, I can't chew at all.. I'm hoping once the pain goes away I can start chewing.. I know its only for a few days, but with the blood work coming up, I'm a little nervous it'll show up that I'm deficient.. I guess I'll have to see what happens…

I am so sorry you are going through this! Hugs. I also hope your blood work comes back fine! I am positive in thinking that it will, you have been trying so very hard at this.

Thanx!! I'll definitely explain to the surgeon what happened, but I'm hoping the blood work comes back good!!

Thanks, ladies! I can't wait to see your progress pics. Even though I've gone down 2-3 sizes so far, it wasn't until I put my photos side by side that I saw a difference. Molly

I did the same thing. I was so excited after seeing the side by side shots, like "omg! Now I know why everyone else keeps telling me I'm melting". I just don't think we really see the full extent of our weightless when we see ourselves in the mirror everyday.

Losing my hair in clumps and still dealing with "stomach" issues from gallbladder removal surgery. On the positive side I'm doing better about meeting protein and water goals and taking my vitamins, so yay? 🤷‍♀️

I've hit a stall 9 months out. I'm not worried, though. My fitness levels continue to improve and I have nearly accomplished my pre-surgery goal of learning to scuba dive! One dive left to complete to get my PADI card 🐠
I was able to go for a 10K/6mile hike in the mountains two days ago just for the fun of it. In the before days, I might have attempted this, but it would have taken me 7 or 8 hours to complete and I would have been exhausted and in pain for the next two days. Taking my time with breaks for snacks and water, I was finished with my wee jaunt in only 4 hours 😎 and really got to enjoy photographing some insects, fungi, and turtles.

I have no clue where to upload this, so I'll put it here. This is pre-op vs the morning of my 6 month appointment! In office I weight 232, that's 88 lbs down since my highest weight, 75 lbs since my surgery weight! I can't believe this jacket fit... I am smaller now than the last time I was this size which the surgeon found really amusing. He's happy with where I am in my weight loss and estimates I'll be around 200 lbs by my 1 year anniversary! My lowest weight as an adult is 195, so that's pretty damn exciting to think I'll be near that at a year. Everything from there will be unknown territory!!
