Man' date=' I wish I got full that fast. But I did have my first dumping syndrome(I guess that's what it was?). I had two bites of mashed broccoli and puked it right back up. I was okay after that though. Strange that I can eat 3 oz of chicken but not a few bites of broccoli

Maybe it was too stringy?

Broccoli is a gassy vegetable. I tried to eat cauliflower and luckily I ate one bite only bc it hurt and I kept burping thinking I was gonna puke. Thats funny you ate an egg, I tried to yesterday too. I ate 75% then stopped from fear of getting too full. I haven't puked yet but I am very careful. Even being careful I have had full pains a handful of times and it has me scared. Yesterday I ate 1/2 of one ravioli and it hurt.

Amanda, No I didn't purée the canned chicken. My NUT said that because it's moist it should go down fine. I also asked her if I could do like a chicken salad and she said that was fine as long as I used fat free mayo which I did.

By the way I was constipated so I went and got Dulcolax like my manual instructed me to. Took one and nothing. Then 7 hours later I took two more and today I'm just living in the bathroom. Oh did I mention it's my first day back at work. Holy shit. ????.

Oh man! That sucks. Bowel drugs take about half a day to work. But not if severely constipated.

I'm 19 days out from surgery and I've gained 3 lbs in the past 5 days. I'm seriously discouraged :( I've read a lot about stalls, but actual weight gain ugh. This blows

I've been taking in 60-90 oz of Water every day since surgery. And It's not that time of the month either. This is the weight I was stuck at for 3 years prior to surgery so I'm praying that I don't stay stuck

I have to go to the gyno next wk anyways, but I don't have any symptoms/history of any of that.

Sageandcoyesmommy, I am also not getting any feeling that tells me I am getting satisfied/full, but I just watch the amount that I eat and stop when I think I need to.

Funny, how so many people have trouble with liquids because I can drink and drink and drink without any resistance. I go for my first check-up on Thursday, Oct 3rd and I am going to ask the doctor what gives.?!?!!!!! Sorta irritating, since I thought I would only be able to have 1-2 bites, but that isn't the case.

I had only like 2 days of back pain that started a week after my surgery. It went away but if I hick up or sneeze it hurts my back like crazy. I called the office during the two days of continuous back pain and their answer was gas pain from the co2. Simply as she put "I can't do anything for you, just tell you what it is."

Losing my hair in clumps and still dealing with "stomach" issues from gallbladder removal surgery. On the positive side I'm doing better about meeting protein and water goals and taking my vitamins, so yay? 🤷‍♀️

I've hit a stall 9 months out. I'm not worried, though. My fitness levels continue to improve and I have nearly accomplished my pre-surgery goal of learning to scuba dive! One dive left to complete to get my PADI card 🐠
I was able to go for a 10K/6mile hike in the mountains two days ago just for the fun of it. In the before days, I might have attempted this, but it would have taken me 7 or 8 hours to complete and I would have been exhausted and in pain for the next two days. Taking my time with breaks for snacks and water, I was finished with my wee jaunt in only 4 hours 😎 and really got to enjoy photographing some insects, fungi, and turtles.
