Tired of getting sick!

Recommended Posts

I spent all of last night & into the early morning puking AGAIN! I didn't eat anything new or out of the ordinary,&yet I got sick. Does this happen to anyone else? I feel so bad this morning I just ate a tiny bowl of Cereal and my pouch is killing me. Ugh. I'm going back to bed!

I tried the soft eggs and it felt like a stone hit the bottom of my stomach. Ruined my day. Hope you have a better day! I'm tired of getting sick or feeling sickly. This is week 4 for me, seems like eternity!

I ate some blenderized Soup for lunch yesterday and I am still burping it up. I'm only a week out from surgery and this is awful. First thing I have had trouble with. Not looking forward to solid food at the moment...

The feeling goes away eventually. To determine the reason for vomiting is like a checklist now. Is it too hot? Cold? Too much carbs? Sugar? Fat? Did I chew good enough? Did I eat too fast? Too much? And some days our pouches can be drama queens and kings and just refuse to keep certain things down even though previously it was ok. But have faith that the yucky "just not feeling right" feeling after you eat goes away.

How far out are u? Between week 4-5 I totally had the week of nothing ever sat right and I just stayed nauseous 24/7 it seemed. It was weird cause its like it came and then went away. I remember many people on here also saying similar things around that time frame so wondered how far out u were.

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞
