I am anywhere between 1200 and 1500 cals a day, ive done as many as 2000 a couple times...

Same here Vicki. I feel horable about myself wen i get up to 1500 :( i always try to do better the next day wen i do that.

I fixed a very good supper tonight its called tex mex mini meatloaves. Mix turkey, onion, taco season pkg, italian bread crumbs, white egg beaters, minced garlic, rotel.

Spoon into muffin pans n sprinkle cheese on top. Bake for about 25 or 30 min

Its the bomb!! Its about 185cal. N 10 to 15 carbs. For 2 muffins

Ok my aug. Peeps. I need som ecourgement!.:((. I feel im eating to much. I was happy n so was the dr. Las tues. With my 82# down, but since tues. No wt gone. I feel head hunger so strong it pulls me in the kitchen. I don't want to fall back. I'm very discouraged. :(

Hi everyone

Just back from holiday and guess what I did not ask for an extension belt whoooiiii amazing as I was able to wear what I wanted

I have not been able to lose any weight this month and think am also eating too much I thought I would continue losing as I was for the last 6-7 months my hair is also falling like nobody's business ah any advice how to kick start the weight loss

I'm at a stall also :( i have been for 2weeks. So I'm doing a little different exercise, Hong it helps.

Are u taking Biotin for your hair? I had to increase to 10,000 mcg a day n that helped me. Thank goodness cause it was coming out by the handful when id brush. But now it doesn't.

I eat between 800-1000 cals a day, 70-90 Protein, less than 40 carbs. Carbs will stall me (and I mean the ones from potato, Pasta, rice, bread, sugar, oatmeal). I also have added 45-60 minutes of exercise in the mornings 5-6 days a week, and an hour of yoga 2 days per week. This combo seems to be working for me after all the stalls I suffered. Worth noting, if I start to get sick or my period I pretty much immediately gain 5lbs of Water weight, then it drops back off once it is over.

70lbs since surgery, 100lbs from highest. It was pretty cool to finally hit that 100lb mark. I'm hoping I can keep up this momentum. Maybe by the end of the year I could be down another 100lbs. I feel good.

Have you tried any alternatives to walking that might be gentle on your back or you could do to supplement your walking? Sit and Be Fit is something to check out, also using a resistence band to do strength training. A lot of those exercises you can do sitting.

I hope your back feels better as you lose. My hips are a lot more stiff since surgery and I have to do a lot of stretching to keep those muscles from seizing up.

I haven't tried any yet. Well at first i did do Water aerobics n it hurt but since I've got alot more wt. Off I'm going to try it again n take it easier. Because i love to swim n that uses alot of muscles n its hard to resist it wen. I'm in the Water :). But i got to refrain from it till my back n knees r better. I'm going to get me some wts.maybe 2lb wts n try them. N yes i need a band to stretch with. Oh n I'm going to get light wts for my legs so i can sit n lift my legs. My thighs r looking saggy :(( my flabby arms r yuky to. My dr. Has me a appt with a plastic surgeon to hav my belly all cut off. :) hoping ins. Will pay since i have 3 fatty tumors in my belly that will help my back also. But i want to lose a bunch more before that happens.

I'm happy u have reached the 100 mark. I'm so excited About reaching it!!! I have 18lbs to go!!! I'm loving it!!

How are all the aug. Peeps out there. Ive been missing u all. I'm finally getting to where i can exercise Some..I'm down 86#!! I can't wait to reach that 100 mark.

Hey tina, I'm doing great.what is ur 1yr annv. Date? I'm down 91# it could have been more but i wasn't able to exercise,. I struggle some with head hunger. I eat pretty much anything i want except rice n hamburger my pouch spits it up..i no i overeat sometimes but if i do i try to do better the next time. I'm hooked on frozen grapes to crunch on, but I've ate so many my mouth was sore, so i had to slack up. I.love making my sugar free smoothies n i add a little Protein to it.. I just recently started exercising.i don't like the excess skin that i see I'm the mirror :( but i look n think wow! I've really done this, but then their is times i think I'm still so fat :( its then that i get more serious with myself. it is a mind boggling sometimes. ..:) so over all I'm ok. :)

What are u struggling with? How much u lost? My 8th month was april 6th. It will be A yr in just 4mths!! I sure hope I'm way past 100 like 110 down is what id like to have lost at my 1yr anniversary. Then my weight will be 211 wow!!! That excites me because its been 26yrs since i was , that weight. Me n my hunny was married april 14th 1988 n i weighed 200!!! So I'm thinking that goal right now after that ill work on another goal :). Ttyl :)

      I have no clue where to upload this, so I'll put it here. This is pre-op vs the morning of my 6 month appointment! In office I weight 232, that's 88 lbs down since my highest weight, 75 lbs since my surgery weight! I can't believe this jacket fit... I am smaller now than the last time I was this size which the surgeon found really amusing. He's happy with where I am in my weight loss and estimates I'll be around 200 lbs by my 1 year anniversary! My lowest weight as an adult is 195, so that's pretty damn exciting to think I'll be near that at a year. Everything from there will be unknown territory!!

      Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?

      Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞
