1st time I had coffee my tummy felt odd too. Now it's kinda ok with it. The chicken..I don't know if I can ever put it in my mouth again. I hate eggs..I can tolerate it with something hiding the egg taste. I get concerned I won't be able to tolerate any meat soon. Pork doesn't taste right what I've had so far but nothing like chicken. I have not even had 20grams Protein today. Nowhere near enough fluids I'm sure after the vomiting from the chicken.

If u have a hard time adding me to my fitness pal just tell us your screen name and some of us here will friend u. I had soccer mom tell me how or I'd never know myself :) I think u are doing great losing 60+ is amazing. I am trying not to even get the scales out..my husband said he was going to steal them and get rid of them as it was making me neurotic not losing even a 1 every week or so but yet I'm busting some mean saggy Clothes. I guess he's right. Your body has had a bit more to heal from that most her so u def deserve some time to heal. Your daughter gone off to college..you may have to start Sexy Sunday.. :) I will just say my husband thinks I'm crazy but when my son was gone I'd go streaming through the house saggy skin and all just trying to make him notice :) that was my sexy Sunday lol

Hah! So funny. I told my husband we are going to walk around the house in our underwear now that there will be no kids in the house. Not sure that will be too pretty of a sight! I have you "friended" on MFP, and I can view your menus. I have two "friends" now. Woohoo. It is interesting to see what others are eating. Seems like we are so limited. I loved eggs before the surgery, but even a few bites starts things gurgling and I get these loud reflux noises coming up my esophagus. Not sure what that is all about! Chicken and fish don't go down well, either. Tonight I had 2 oz of low salt ham and 1 oz of cheese in a small salad, and that went down well.I guess it is just going to take time. Of course, carbs go down great...crackers, Fiber one bars, etc. But my nutritionist wants me to stay away from carbs. Melons and berries are sitting well, too. So my food world is expanding. Vegetables are a little harder to digest.

I feel so lucky to have the friendship and support of my on-line friends!

Today makes three months and saw my surgeon today. I'm doing awesome down 79 pounds as of today. My levels are great except my liver enzymes but they have been high since 2011 and now must get the liver biopsy done soon since I've been putting it off. Sure i can handle any surgery but this i have to be awake for so I'm pussen out. But I'm happy happy happy life is good.

My friendships here are so wonderful!! It's nice having folks who know what u are talking about. I haven't really been tolerating meat as much as I'd like. I loved it so much before but now I'm kinda blah on it. Had shrimp tonight and I still have to force it down. I love watermelon now. I have like 4 in my garden waiting to be ready. Can't wait. We have been eating them often here. I had shakes today as much as I don't like them. Got my Protein in tho so no complaints.

So the ER was NOT great. It was a 12 hour process but found out what was wrong. Seems I have a very large cyst on my left ovary that grew with all the hormonal changes in my body. They basically had to shoot me up with pain meds. They starred with morphine but that didn't help at all. Went stronger just enough to knock me out. Now, I have to worry about it rupturing. Omg! The pain is indescribable!!!

I've hit a stall 9 months out. I'm not worried, though. My fitness levels continue to improve and I have nearly accomplished my pre-surgery goal of learning to scuba dive! One dive left to complete to get my PADI card 🐠
I was able to go for a 10K/6mile hike in the mountains two days ago just for the fun of it. In the before days, I might have attempted this, but it would have taken me 7 or 8 hours to complete and I would have been exhausted and in pain for the next two days. Taking my time with breaks for snacks and water, I was finished with my wee jaunt in only 4 hours 😎 and really got to enjoy photographing some insects, fungi, and turtles.
Just for fun last week, I ran two 5Ks in two days, something I would have never done in the past! Next goal is a 10K before the end of this month.

Hi everyone, I wrote back in May about having no strength. I still get totally exhausted just walking from room to room, it’s so bad I’m using a walker with wheels of all things. I had the gastric sleeve Jan. 24th. I’m doing exactly what the programs says, except protein shakes. I have different meats and protein bars daily, including vitamins daily. I do drink my fluids as well.  I go in for IV hydration 4 days a week and feel ok just til evening.  So far as of Jan 1st I’ve dropped 76 lbs. I just want to enjoy the weight lose. Any suggestions or has anyone else gone thru this??  Doctor says just increase calorie intake, still the same.

Losing my hair in clumps and still dealing with "stomach" issues from gallbladder removal surgery. On the positive side I'm doing better about meeting protein and water goals and taking my vitamins, so yay? 🤷‍♀️
