Can somebody stay overnight with you when you get surgery.??

It varies hospital to hospital. When I had my gall bladder out over the summer my fiancé was allowed to stay, but I actually preferred he went home.

Thanks hopefully they do cause my best friend wants to stay with me and I also want her to stay there with me to have some support. :)

My hospital told me no overnight guest

Mine was OK with it but I sent hubby home. I would have been worried about him plus with the pain meds you don't really care. LOL

It all depends on the hospitals policy and procedures. It also depends if you are in a private room or have a roommate, good luck
