  6. What an exciting day! Congrats! Today they most likely wont tell you yes or no, but rather schedule you for tons of tests and consults, and appointments. Best of luck!!
  7. It varies hospital to hospital. When I had my gall bladder out over the summer my fiancé was allowed to stay, but I actually preferred he went home.
  8. When I started- 24 pants and 2x tops, today 20 and xl tops... Surgery in 9 weeks!
  9. Most protein powders cook at about 130 degrees.
  10. Remember the 80% rule. If you eat well 80% of the time you will be okay. Honestly, will power is a huge part of the surgery. It's not a sort term diet you can give up on-- don't get too discouraged. Make sure you're eating lost of Protein, it will help fill you up and stay full longer. Also, make sure you are drinking your water!

  17. I had to lose 15 lbs as kind of a right of passage into the program, and have been waiting since November to get a surgery date. I've got less than 10 weeks to go though! Woo!
  18. It is possible they can slip, but its pretty uncommon. My big complaint (and the bfs) is that it pokes him-- but if he didn't poke me, it wouldn't poke him! Lol. Whatever way you decide to go, make sure u stick to it. The last thing any one of us needs is the momentum of our new super-charged bodies being interrupted by a bambino.
