What ya eating tonight?

Teriyaki chicken from Panda Express. No rice or noodles. Just the chicken and four small bites of zucchini out of my husband's meal. I got the small a la carte entree and ate about half ( 2.5 ounces).

1/4 cup retried Beans with melted cheese and guacamole. Yum!!

how many days are you post op? I would love some Beans and cheese

I had surgery April 8. Was Clear liquids until April 13 when I went to full liquids. Started puree/some soft on April 20 and found that the refried beans not only fall into the puree category, but it also helps with getting Protein iin that doesn't come from a Protein shake. Have been losing steady and now down 20 pounds.

I had surgery April 23. I started the two week liquid diet on April 9. I weighed 274. As of today, I weigh 248. I am having a hard time getting my Protein in. Everything made of powder taste nasty. I have tried unjury and Isopure. The only thing I can drink is Premier Protein shakes. Any suggestions?

I have had great success with Performance whey Isolate (Vanilla Shake). I mix it with 10 oz. skim milk and add two packets of Splenda. I tried about 15 different types before I found this. It's 30 gms of Protein per shake. I started out drinking two a day but then dropped one as my food is now supplementing the rest of my protein. Good luck!!

I made chicken breast in the crockpot with onions Soup mix, zucchini "noodles" sautéed with mushrooms a little olive oil, seasoning, and a little asiago cheese. I also made roasted Brussel sprouts. I could only eat a little of the Zoodles & sprouts of course but my husband and kids loved them! I have to say it was all delicious!

Yes, NewgirlfromMd, I'm with Mildred. Please share the recipe!

As for me, as I'm sick of chicken and fish and aren't allowed beef or pork yet, I'm having roasted turkey breast. I discovered today that my neighborhood HEB store roasts them fresh every day. I had some at lunch and will be repeating it for dinner. Probably with a small salad.

I have no clue where to upload this, so I'll put it here. This is pre-op vs the morning of my 6 month appointment! In office I weight 232, that's 88 lbs down since my highest weight, 75 lbs since my surgery weight! I can't believe this jacket fit... I am smaller now than the last time I was this size which the surgeon found really amusing. He's happy with where I am in my weight loss and estimates I'll be around 200 lbs by my 1 year anniversary! My lowest weight as an adult is 195, so that's pretty damn exciting to think I'll be near that at a year. Everything from there will be unknown territory!!

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

That's brilliant! You've done amazing!! I should probably think about changing my profile picture at some point. Mine is the doll from Squid Games. Ironically the whole premise of the show is about dodging death. We've both done that...

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?
