.,,,,and that ladies and gentlemen is why I don't tell what I eat or how much I have lost this week. There will always be someone who feels called upon to point out our mistakes, like we don't already know. I don't need it. It's my business. I'll support you in this, because we all need to befriend each other. I don't point out poor choices as I have made quite a few, and so has everyone else. It happens. Just be supportive and kind and realize we are all still learning. My Dr. Allows lots of things other surgeons don't. It's not the same for everybody.

we stick together....The obnoxious people I mean......LOL

I think this kind of encouragement of public judgment degration and bullying is unacceptable. Because someone made a bad choice does not give anyone else the right to degrade them in public. There's a difference between being of obnoxious and just being hateful.

People shouldn't post there bad choices on a "public" forum. I certainly don't post my poor choices I am far from perfection.

If I did then I deserve comments and constructive critisim from my peers for sabotaging my WLS. When did we start rewarding people for failure?

If a person has a issue ( i.e., trigger, trauma or whatever makes he/she eat) they need to seek help. WLS is a tool not a therapists. Many people slip through the cracks or manipulate the system to get this procedure only fail because of an unresolved underlying issue. I have been positive and helpful on this forum for over 390 posts. Just because I think some of these comments are humerous, sarcastic and funny does nor make me a bully, judgememtal or degredating. Maybe the sensitivity button should be turned down a knotch or maybe some need to laugh about themselves occasionally?!

There is a rather large difference in 'constructive criticism' and 'obnoxiousness'. We should welcome constructive criticism, as we can learn from each others experiences. The sarcastic and obnoxious comments, however, are uncalled for. This is a support forum, not a 'lets see how much of a douchewaffle I can be to people' forum.

Don't take that the wrong way though. That was just a little 'constructive criticism'.

Losing my hair in clumps and still dealing with "stomach" issues from gallbladder removal surgery. On the positive side I'm doing better about meeting protein and water goals and taking my vitamins, so yay? 🤷‍♀️

I've hit a stall 9 months out. I'm not worried, though. My fitness levels continue to improve and I have nearly accomplished my pre-surgery goal of learning to scuba dive! One dive left to complete to get my PADI card 🐠
I was able to go for a 10K/6mile hike in the mountains two days ago just for the fun of it. In the before days, I might have attempted this, but it would have taken me 7 or 8 hours to complete and I would have been exhausted and in pain for the next two days. Taking my time with breaks for snacks and water, I was finished with my wee jaunt in only 4 hours 😎 and really got to enjoy photographing some insects, fungi, and turtles.

I have no clue where to upload this, so I'll put it here. This is pre-op vs the morning of my 6 month appointment! In office I weight 232, that's 88 lbs down since my highest weight, 75 lbs since my surgery weight! I can't believe this jacket fit... I am smaller now than the last time I was this size which the surgeon found really amusing. He's happy with where I am in my weight loss and estimates I'll be around 200 lbs by my 1 year anniversary! My lowest weight as an adult is 195, so that's pretty damn exciting to think I'll be near that at a year. Everything from there will be unknown territory!!
