I'm having mine on April 22ns and I have 2 young kids. How long should I hire help for?!? My oldest daughter is 3 and disabled. How bad does it hurt? I have a pretty high pain tolerance and I have had 2 csection with my kids.

Tia and I hope you feel better!

I guess I just didn't want everyone on my fb to know. I had already made my mind up and was tired of people talking about it. I would rather post a picture in 6 months and have people freak! I mean I want to scream" Hey fuckers I lost 24 pounds in 3 weeks" but i don't! haha I'll just share with you all :) We can become our own little support group! If y'all want to share a little information about yourself. You dont have too just an idea!

What LoL!!! Love what you put.

Hey fuckers I lost 24 pounds in 3 weeks. That's Great!!!. It's all about you and what.

Honestly the pain is the worst for the first 2 days and then it gets better with every day. You can't lift over 10 pounds and bending is a big chore; I'm still having trouble with it.

I will be hiring someone if my sister can't help me then. I don't want to come home and have no help and be forced to do things myself. I just hope my husband will help out on the weekends. He tends to give me shitty looks if he has to do "too much" lol.

I had my surgery one week ago on Feb. 26.

The pain was horrible the first night until they got the pain medications right. After that I had no issues. Much easier then the two c-sections and hysterectomy surgery I had in the past. I have no pain now. My doctor closed the holes with a special glue nor steri strips or sutures. I never had trouble sitting or coughing. I was discard three days post op and had a 2 hour car ride home with no discomfort. Everyone is different

I am 22 and I had the surgery Monday! Having minor pains but I'm hungry! I haven't found a good source of Protein yet so maybe that's why? Any suggestions?

I have no clue where to upload this, so I'll put it here. This is pre-op vs the morning of my 6 month appointment! In office I weight 232, that's 88 lbs down since my highest weight, 75 lbs since my surgery weight! I can't believe this jacket fit... I am smaller now than the last time I was this size which the surgeon found really amusing. He's happy with where I am in my weight loss and estimates I'll be around 200 lbs by my 1 year anniversary! My lowest weight as an adult is 195, so that's pretty damn exciting to think I'll be near that at a year. Everything from there will be unknown territory!!

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞
